Article One
Purpose of club
Section one: The purpose of The Old Dominion Cruisers Club is to promote friendship and camaraderie among Car owners and car buffs from other clubs for all types of cars.


Article Two
Membership requirements
Section one: A member is a person or immediate family member of that person that owns a P T Cruiser or other Custom/Cruiser type vehicle ( other than a P.T). The owner-member must operate and maintain their vehicle in a courteous and safe manner in accordance of all local,state, and federal laws, When represnting our club at any event or outing.

Section two: A member must attend at least two meetings per year. All members must conduct themselves in a manner that will not discredit or embarrass the club.Club dues must be paid within 30 days of the beginning of the next fiscal year set by the club. If not,such membership will be void

Section three: Owner/Member will be responsible for the conduct of family members and guest at any club activity, event or outing.


Article Three
New Members
Section one: A new member should be sponsored by a active member in good standing with the club.

Section two: Each prospective member must be given a copy of the by-laws and agree to abide by them once they are accepted into the club.

Section three: Each new member should attend the next scheduled club meeeting if at all possible so as to meet other members, to become familiar with Officers and procedures of the club


Article Four
Assoiate Members
Setion one: A person who dosen't own a P.T Cruiser or other Custom Cruiser type vehicle or vehicle in general can petiton the club to become a Associate member.This persons application must be discussed by thiere sponsor at the next scheduled club meeting, voted on by members present and such person will be notified of acceptance.

Section two: Assoiate members will have voting privileges as a regular member


Article Five
Discipline
Section one: Any actions by members, Associate members or their guest that doesn't abide by the by-laws of the Old Dominion Cruiser Club or is detrimental to the true meaning of the club will be reviewed by the officers of the club and appropriate action can be administerd upto dismissal from the club.

Section two: All members will conduct themselves in as orderly and polite manner at all club meetings and functions. Correct forums will be followed as to maintain order. We all accept that we can agree to disagree but with dignity and in the true spirit of friendship.


Article Six
Amendments
Article one: These by-laws can be amended at any at any time by a designed quorum approved by all the members in attendance at any regularly scheduled meeting.


Article Seven
Officers
Section one: The club officers shall be a President,Vice-President,Secretary,Treasurer, and Events Coordinator that is nominated and elected by members in attendance. This process will be scheduled and held in January of the new fiscal year..

Section two: The President shall preside over all meetings and conduct the general affairs and maintain order of all meetings.He or she will conduct themselves to show club pride and friendship to other clubs and visitors.

Section three: The Vice President shall preside over all meetings and events in the absence of the president. The Vice-President will assume all duties of the President in the event of resignation or other unforseen prblems.

Section four: The Secretary shall keep a copy of by-laws,applications for membership,an up to date listing of members information and maintain a true copy of all minutes of the club meetings and committee reports. This is to maintain a written record of each meeting to be read at the next scheduled club meeting. The Secretary, with volunteers, will assemble, type and send the monthly newsletter to active members. Such minuites will be turned over to the incoming Secretary at the next election of Officers.

Section five: The Treasurer will collect fees, membership dues, as well as event/meeting funds. Also the Treasurer will maintain balance of all the monetary transactions of the club, the records of paid memberships and receipts to be read and approved on at every club meeting.
Section six: The Events Coordinator will collect, assemble and present to the members dates/times/purpose and assembly times of upcoming Cruise-Ins, Car Shows, and outings ( ect.) for the club members to participate in. He or she will coordinate the procedures to follow for these events.


Article Eight
Special committees
Section one: Special committees can be made up of volunteers to plan club events,club promtions,parties,fund drives ( ect.) as needed.All members are encouraged to participate in special committees.
